Spring

We love living in Brasil. We especially love our springs and summers. It's our spring now, and we have lots of days of very comfortable temperatures and some of the bluest skies you'll ever see.

During spring the city is covered with flowers and these trees that have a beautiful purple bloom. They're everywhere but the blooms don't last long.

We took these photos at Anderson's school the other day.

Seeing this stuff all around the city always gets Benay in the mood to "pretty up" our yard. We don't have much of one (I can cut the front AND back "yard" in 5 minutes) but we like for it to look nice. So we went out and bought some flowers. She and the boys then went to work on the flower boxes.

Here's the finished product of the flower boxes in the window sill behind the metal bars (security purposes). By the way, you are looking at our ENTIRE front yard.
