Yes our president only has 4 fingers on that left hand. He lost his finger in an accident when he worked at an auto parts factory. Like anywhere in the world it's pretty typical here with politics. People either love or hate Lula. I have never heard anyone in our state say they love him.Anyway, I found this link with a brief article of this important day in Brasilian history for anyone who might be interested in reading about it.
