Bronwyn's baptism

Hey everybody. This is Bronwyn typing about my baptism. I really don’t know what to say, so I’m just going to say how I decided to get baptized and why it was so special to me. I got baptized at my grandparent’s church camp in Memphis. Camp is from Sunday night until Friday night, and on the last night of camp (Thursday night) they have a big devo by the lake. All week long, we had been hearing about how on that night, after the devo, a ton of kids got baptized and stuff. But before the devo started, I ran to Aunt Melissa and told her to call Mom and Dad because I wanted to get baptized. We both started crying and I really don’t think Dad understood a thing that we said to him, because we were all crying so hard. But Mom and Dad’s car had broken down and they weren’t going to be able to take the 3 hour car drive on Thursday night. But that was fine with me, because I just wanted my family there. So on Friday after lunch, Mom and Dad got to camp and I was baptized with my parents, sister, counselors, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents and great-grandmother there. I guess that that was what it made it so special. It would have been special anywhere at anytime, but having all of my family there was really cool. I only get to see them once every 2 years, so it was very special to me.
