Day Four

Andy Pants,

This morning we woke up and I read on Zero Hora that they closed the airport because of fog. So I went to the window to take a picture and I couldn't see the airport at all. Here's what it looked like.
Carys made us white chocolate, dark chocolate and apple crepes for breakfast. They were awesome! I think Garrett had 4.

The fog went away pretty quickly and it warmed up to be a beautiful day.

It was so warm that Quigs hung out in his underwear as he watched Cars 2 and played with his cars.
We ate at Habib's today. It was good.

Tell mom that here are some pictures of the crazy looking bird that was outside our bedroom window when I was talking to her on the phone.

Here is a picture of Gi holding the phone for you to listen to Tangled while he watched it. I loved that.
We are really excited to get on the plane tomorrow. Gi has had his Thomas the Tank Engine suitcase ready to go since this morning. He's been walking around the house and rolling the suitcase behind him all day.

Glad you get to see your best American bud tomorrow. You guys have fun and we'll see you on Monday.

Love you bro.

Day Three

Anderson,

Gi had his last day of school today. He is SO excited about getting on the plane. I mean he's crazy excited and can only ask how many days until it's time. He asks at least 20 times a day!

Cris sent us a note in Gi's agenda. I thought mom would like to see it.
She's so nice. I know you love her as much as Gi does.

Today, when it was time to take Garrett to futebol practice, I told Gi to get his flip flops on. He found three different ones and they were all for his right foot!
I have to read this book to him every day:
I think he likes it so much because he likes to hear William say, "Wooshee gaga." I have to say I like that part too because it makes him laugh so much. He laughs hard at that part every time. Every time!

Iasmin came over and ate lunch with us. She and Carys decided to decorate mom's calendar board with words they invented.
They even invented little cheers for their words. That sounds right for them doesn't it? They are crazy.

Garrett just got home from futsal practice at Dohm's and he was telling me about the two goals he scored.

Mom says you are having fun being a junior college student. Make sure the girls buy you a purple milkshake.

It's family night tonight and Carys is making tacos. Gi picked the movie and it looks like it's going to be Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Wish you were here to hang with us but we'll get to see you in 3 days.

Love you bro!

Day Two

Anderson,

Today was an awesome day for Gi.

He got his new ID card AND some of that awesome pão de queijo that you guys had the other day.
We got home and Garrett was waiting for us. He heard us pull into the garage and thought he would scare us.

He went out and stood in front of the elevator like this:
He was waiting for us when we got out of the elevator but guess what happened first?

Our neighbor came out of her apartment. The first thing she saw was Garrett standing like the picture looking at her. He scared her to death!

He still tried to scare Gi but he did it from inside the apartment instead of waiting in the hall.

Auristela helped us sell the cookies today because Leni had another appointment. She had to leave at 4 to go to Maumau's Mother's day apresentação.

So me, Carys, Gi and Iasmin sold cookies at the bazar for the last 2 hours.

I think Carys and Iasmin laughed and were goofy the entire time.

We came home and I gave Gi a bath. He practiced his natação in his little tub. He put his mouth in the water and blew bubbles. Pretty good for him.

He went to sleep with his dog again last night. He has named him Rexy.
Gi is still counting the days until he gets on the plane.

Only 4 days until we see you at the airport.

Love you dude!

Day One for Anderson

Anderson,

Today is day one of blogs I promised you until we get to Dallas on Monday.

Here are the goodbye pics we took yesterday.

Your bro is really missing you. He went to sleep with a dog last night. He petted it like it was real for about 10 minutes before finally konking out.
He had swimming class today and he loved it. This picture makes me laugh every time I look at it.
He went with me to the bazar today to see if Leni needed any more cookies. Katia gave him two cups of her desserts. He sat in her lap for about 20 minutes just talking and drawing pictures with her.

I saw Lucas twice today. He shot me a "não faça meu" both times. I know he's already missing you.

Quigs asked me about 20 times today how many days until he gets on the airplane and how many days until he gets his ID card. He's excited about both.

Glad you and mom made it safe. Thanks for taking care of her for me on the trip. And thanks for rubbing it in about the Dr. Pepper and Wendys. You're gonna pay for that when I see you.

Give mom and your goober sisters a hug from us.

Love you bud.

P.S. You picked a good day to leave. The temperature was 41 when we woke up this morning (get mom to tell you how cold that is). Enjoy the warm weather!
