Giovanni doesn't really do loud noises. In the house church that meets in our house he doesn't care for the songs we sing that involve clapping.
In fact, he's a little skiddish/jumpy/flinchy with any kind of loud or strange noises.
In the following video Benay is reading a book to Giovanni called Hurry Scurry Mousie! Giovanni LOVES books. With the turn of each page of this book a mouse on an elastic string "jumps" from one page to the next.

Yeah, poor guy. I let out a guffaw when I was there and near killed the kid. He was not happy. It was probably a formative moment and now he is eternally skittish on my account. Sorry buddy.
