Benay had a good birthday.
She received some calls from her Brasilian family. She had people take time out of their busy schedules to stop by our house to give her a birthday hug. She got lots of emails and messages from friends and family in the United States and Brazil.
She also got to spend lots of fun time with her boyfriend and kids. We had fun.

(P.S.-Thank you for the prayers for Carys. She still has fever and is still holed up in her room recuperating but she is starting to feel better. She is really hungry and requested spaghetti, chicken noodle soup with those big fat noodles, or a McDonald's cheeseburger and fries. Since we don't have any groceries in the house, we're going for the McD's. Sounds like she's on the mend.)
