Paging Dr. Blume

Carys was recently on her winter vacation. Typically the last two weeks of July are school holidays for our kids. During that recent break Benay had a doctor's appointment with Claudia and Carys asked if she could go too. She was dying to hear the baby's (still not named) heartbeat.
Imagine how thrilled Carys was when Claudia asked her to be the "special" assistant. One thing we love about Brasil is the amount of time our doctors spend with us. There is also never a thing as inconveniencing your doctor. You can ask as many questions as you want, talk and even bring your 9 year old daughter to an appointment and your typical Brasilian doctor (from our experience) will welcome these things with open arms. This is especially true with Claudia. Like we've said before, she is more friend than doctor.

Carys was thrilled to actually be the one who allowed all of us to hear her little brother's heartbeat.

I don't know if Carys or Claudia enjoyed the visit more.
